Hello! And happy June! Despite how slow March went by with all this COVID19 madness, I feel like time is flying by! I can’t believe SUMMER is almost here!

And because it’s almost summer, I think it’s a great time for blogging a family session I did last summer. A lot of people want their family photos done in the fall because of all the color that comes with it, and there is nothing wrong with that! But summertime is the BEST time to have your family photos done. Why? TIMELESS. Your photos will be timeless. Fall foliage is amazing, and I think it’s great to have them done in the fall sometimes. But for the most part, your family photos done with beautiful greens and blue skies will look amazing in your home all year long, and won’t look dated as soon as it isn’t fall anymore!

And the Purser Family did just that last year :)

We ventured into the mountains just a little ways above Provo, Utah up Squaw Peak Road for some easy-access mountain views, green foliage, and even some little yellow flowers! The girls’ dresses were sent to them from their grandma in England, and the pastel outfits Melissa chose for her and her husband coordinated with the dresses beautifully. Altogether, the outfits blended perfectly with our location and we got some truly priceless photos.

Now if kids would only stay the same size, maybe we would never need to update our family pictures ;)

For those of you who are looking to book with me this year, I have limited spots until mid-August and then I will be shutting business doors for a couple months. I have recently moved to Roy, Utah (Ogden area), and because of that, I will be running a discount for photography in the Weber/Davis county areas! If you live in Utah County, Salt Lake makes a great meeting point for us to still get your quality photos done!
